Be wary of our competitors’ hidden fees and charges

Some Removal firms hide fees and charges, you will never know until it’s too late

What to look out for?

Call out fees:  They charge you time travelled to get to your residence, office or storage facility.

Back to Base or Depot to Depot: They charge you for travel time from the job back to their base, even though they could be going to another job.

Fuel Fee: They charge a per kilometre fee for kilometres travelled over a certain distance or a percentage on your final bill.

Rounding up by the hour:  Some companies round their charges up by the hour.

Gentleman & A Van have no hidden fees, we do not charge call out fees or depot charges. We start charging when we commence work and stop charging when we finish work at your home, office or storage facility. We do not charge any fuel fees in the Sydney Metro area and hours of work are charged by 15 minute increments not by 30 minutes or 1 hour blocks.  

We can also come to your home or office for a consultation and provide a fixed price quotation free of charge.

What our pricing include?

• You will receive friendly staff members that are fully trained and professional removal men
• Tool box kit for dismantling and reassembling large items of furniture (we do this for you)
• Fully equipped truck with professional removal equipment, padded moving blankets, straps, trolleys and spare boxes.
• Can offer a full packing service of your home or office possessions for the same hourly rate.
